Our GAA parish community were saddened at the weekend to hear that Marie had died. A welcoming and kind lady to all of us she encouraged Mark, Brian and Padraig in their playing days with the club. Throughout her illness Marie continued to support Tom in his weekly duties to keep the grass on our playing fields expertly cut and maintained, helping with GAA match day stewarding etc. Our sympathies to Tom, Mark, Brian, Padraig and all the family on the death of Marie. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
