Catherine O ‘Meara RIP

The parish community of Moycarkey – Borris GAA Camóige & Ladies football club are shocked and saddened by the untimely death of Catherine O Meara RIP. Catherine and her family have been deeply involved in the club’s team’s, games and activities.

As Sean and Liam moved up through the underage team groups Catherine and Alan were always there to help, support and encourage every one involved. Like Alan with the boys teams, Catherine also served assiduously as a coach and mentor with the juvenile camogie and ladies football teams.

Catherine always so positive and helpful was loved and respected by our players, parents and the entire sporting community. She will be sadly missed.

Our sincere sympathies to Alan, Jennifer, Séan, Liam and all the family.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.
