On Monday evening in the Ragg our under 16 girls competed in the 16A County Camóige final against Cashel some thing that was never done before. After a slow start the girls got into their stride and came from 9 down to a draw at half time.
The second half was point for point with both teams going at each other in a superb game of camoige.
The girls got the all important goal in the last 15 minutes followed by a point to lead by 4. They held their nerve as Cashel had two goal chances saved in the last few minutes. It was an incredible game of camoige from two great teams with Moycarkey winning the first ever 16A County Camóige title.
Congratulations to all the girls and their management team of Ray Ralph, Ray Kearney, Sharon Ralph, Una ó Sullivan and Jade Beason
