Now that the dust has settled on our historic win in Golden yesterday afternoon on behalf of the club I want to thank everyone involved. Thanks to the players who brought so much joy and entertainment to the parish over the last couple of months Thanks to manager John Kelly, coach Willie Ryan, Selectors Anthony healy, Gerry Mcguire, Robert Clancy, Shane Nolan, kit man Paddy shanahan, hurley carriers Kevin Moran and Phil Kelly and finally physio Madeline Loughnane who all gave their time and commitment to the lads.
Thanks to our supporters who were brilliant from start to finish. Along with Fas they decorated the parish from one end to the other in red and yellow. They turned up in large numbers to support the lads which was really appreciated.
Thanks to all our wonderful sponsors all year especially Billy and Veronica Lanigan who sponsored tops this week at short notice and Clancy construction who looked after a faboulas meal for the lads yesterday.
Thanks to Chairman Tom Flanagan and his team of officers who supported the team and mentors with what they needed. It was a hard couple of weeks especially with recovery between matches but the lads dug deep and would die on the pitch for the team which was seen yesterday with Peter Melbourne.
The club is very proud of the lads and here's hoping we can build on our historic win in Golden on 15th January 2022 and work towards Dan Breen in the future.❤️💛🏆🏆
