Congratulations to our under 17 football team who won the 17A County league final on Saturday evening in Dundrum. This league has being a great incentive for clubs to play competitive matchs while their County minor players are on duty with Tipperary.

The players worked and trained hard over the last 6 weeks and thanks to two early goals by Eamonn Ryan were able to hold the lead against a young Clonmel Commercials team. Sean Hayes captained the side and accepted the trophy on behalf of the players. Thanks to Christy Clancy and his Selectors for the great work done with the players.

The lads have no break as they are back out on the field this Monday against Burgess in the Mid North hurling league. We wish them every success in this competition.
