Joe Coman RIP…. The GAA community of Moycarkey Borris are saddened this weekend at the death of Joe Coman RIP. Born into a great sporting family in Coldfields, Two Mile Borris, Joe excelled as an athlete, hurler and club officer. Playing in the Moycarkey Borris teams with his brothers Paddy, Jimmy, John and Justin, Joe was a pacy and capable forward. Joe played wing forward in the 1962 County Senior Hurling Final v Sarsfields. We remember and cherish Joe Coman’s generous service in Moycarkey Borris GAA.
After Requiem Mass at 11am in Thurles Cathedral on this Saturday Sept. 3rd. we request that Moycarkey Borris GAA people gather at the front of the Cathedral (11.45am) to show our respect & appreciation for Joe Coman RIP
