Moycarkey Borris GAA Club are pleased to announce that our lighting and surface upgrade works are now complete and we would like to thank the Sports Capital section of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport & Media for their generous support. We would like to compliment local contractors Eamonn Darmody of Darmody Sports Turf for the lighting works and John Ryan of Ryan Tarmacadam H&J for the surface works. The walkway is available under lights from 7pm to 9pm. Associate membership is now available for locals looking to avail of this enhanced facility. Strictly No Dogs Allowed.

The opening of the walkway will take place tomorrow, Monday 13th February at 7 pm by President of Mid Tipperary GAA Board, Liam Hennessy.

Afterwards, a warm welcome is extended to everyone in the parish to join us for our first ever IRELANDS LIGHTS UP walk on Monday 13th at 7.30pm.

Anyone interested in doing a couch to 5k run can also register on the night.

The walkway is open every night from 7-9pm with social membership available for those interested in using the walkway.
