Moycarkey Borris GAA Club Walkway

The official opening of the walkway took place recently by the President of the Mid Tipperary GAA Board, Liam Hennessy. The walkway is available under lights from 7pm to 9pm. Walking membership (€20) is now available for locals looking to avail of this enhanced facility. Strictly No Dogs Allowed.

Moycarkey Lights Up takes place on Mondays at 7.30 pm. Couch to 5K will also take place.

Following on from the opening of the new walking facilities and as part of the Club's continued commitment to the GAA's Healthy Clubs scheme, the club's pitches at Littleton are now a 'Smoke Free Zone'. Patrons are encouraged to refrain from using tobacco products including e-cigarettes or vapes while using or attending the pitches.

1983 Minor Hurling Team Reunion

Moycarkey Borris Minor Hurling Team of 1983 will be holding a 40 Year Reunion on March 4th in Bannons at 9 pm. Everyone is welcome!

Club Meeting

Club meeting will be held this Friday 24th February at 8 pm in the Clubhouse. All are welcome!

Juvenile Club

The Juvenile Club Medal Presentation will now take place in Muintir na Tíre Hall at 5 pm on Sunday 26th of February.

Bannons Golf Society will be holding a Table Quiz in Bannons on 10th of March at 8 pm in aid of Moycarkey Borris Juvenile Club. There will be a raffle on the night also. All support is appreciated!

Cara Camp took place on Friday February 17th and was a great success. Our club is proud to be one of the inclusive clubs in Tipperary, running the Cara Camp which is a hour of fun and games for children with additional needs. We are hoping to run these more frequently and are looking for volunteers. Text Eimear 0870903168 to express interest.

Junior B Management Team

Moycarkey Borris Camogie and Ladies Football Club

Helen Ryan is giving a talk on Monday the 27th in the Muintir na Tíre hall at 8.30pm and it is for women from 35 plus and is very informative and beneficial on women’s health & wellbeing. It is open to all women in the Parish and outside so mothers, aunts & grannies etc.. €10 for admittance.

Club Lotto

Our club lotto now stands at a jackpot of €12,600. Tickets can be purchased here - https://www.moycarkeyborris.com/draws. If you’re not in, you can’t win.

Moycarkey Borris GAA Golf Classic

Moycarkey Borris GAA Golf Classic 2023 will take place on Friday June 30th and Saturday July 1st in Thurles Golf Club. We are delighted to run this event again this year after such a successful weekend last year. Thanks for Thurles Golf Club for facilitating the event. We are looking for members of our club to join our organising committee. We want players, parents, business owners, social members, anyone who thinks they could help us with the event!
